01 / 06 Your business
Your business delivers the goods or completes the contracted service for a business or government customer. Factoring is generally based on a receivable for completed work—not a purchase order or work that has yet to be performed.
02 / 06 Business → customer
After delivery or completion, your business invoices its customer under the agreed terms, such as net-30 or net-60. The invoice represents the customer’s obligation to pay, subject to the contract and any verification or dispute.
03 / 06 Business → provider
Your business submits the invoice to a factoring provider with records it requests, which may include proof of delivery, approved timesheets, or service documentation. Requirements vary, and complete documentation does not guarantee eligibility or approval.
04 / 06 Factoring provider
The provider may verify the invoice and completed work, assess the customer’s creditworthiness, and review other eligibility requirements. If approved, the provider may purchase the receivable and fund an agreed initial advance; the amount and timing depend on its review and the agreement.
05 / 06 Customer → provider
For an assigned invoice, the customer is usually instructed to pay the factoring provider, often through a designated account or lockbox. The customer pays according to the invoice terms and notice instructions; payment timing is not guaranteed.
06 / 06 Provider → business
After the provider receives the customer’s payment, it accounts for the advance, applicable fees, and any permitted adjustments under the agreement. Any remaining reserve is then released to your business. The final amount depends on the transaction terms.

We'll have a candid discussion with you to explain relevant considerations based on the information provided. We'll explore whether invoice factoring aligns with your cash flow needs and business model. This discussion does not imply approval, guarantee placement, or guarantee funding.
If factoring seems like a potential fit, we will discuss a potential factoring provider. Provider fit can vary based on the business, your customers, the type of receivables, required documentation, and the desired factoring structure. LIEquity is not an automated matching service or an open provider marketplace.

LIEquity does not automatically distribute your application to a network of providers. Provider-specific information sharing occurs only later, and only with your appropriate authorization. We respect your business privacy and control exactly when your identifiable information moves forward.
Once introduced to a factoring provider, that provider will perform its own review and due diligence. The provider determines eligibility, evaluates customer credit, makes all approval decisions, and establishes the final terms, rates, and conditions.
After the provider completes its evaluation and issues a proposal, you ultimately decide whether to accept the provider's proposed arrangement. You are never obligated to proceed until you sign an agreement with the provider.
